anyways now i set the valve timing to standard with hopes of improving the vacuum.but now after i first ran it i had flames coming out of the carb turn the dist a little bit n it started running ok.but vacuum now is 5-6 and im trying to adjust the idle mixtures for max vac. 0325/0.340 now everything else from i understand is all stock.now i had originally retarded the valve timing.called summit and they told me that was a big mistake because the cams too aggressive and he said i would get little to no vacuum.now when it was retarded i was getting approx 12-13 in. Hey guys got a 350 sbc with edelbrock 750 cfm, edelbrock intake, Mallory HEI vac advance distributor, cam adv duration 292/302 lift valve 0.488/0.510 lift cam.
